For fourth year IPA Lesvos is organizing the Moria Run 2024 road race.
The aim of the race is to strengthen the sporting spirit, urging both the members of the Union, as well as road athletes and everyday citizens, to participate in a beautiful common sporting action and also to highlight the historical monument of the Roman Aqueduct and the settlement of Moria.
This year, the start and finish will take place in Agios Vasilios Moria (outside the community office of Moria).
There are three routes:
Children's route 1.1 km
Asphalt within the village of Moria.
Free participation
Short route 5.7 km
Asphalt around the village of Moria
Participation €8
Long route 11.8 km
The first 7.9km are asphalt around the village of Moria and 3.9km dirt - passable rural road that passes through the beautiful olive grove of Moria and the Roman Aqueduct.
Participation €10
All athletes who will participate in all three categories will be given bags with products provided by the organisers and a commemorative participation medal.
For the long route there is a participation fee of €10, for the short route €8, while for the children's route there is no participation fee.
All proceeds will be allocated for a charitable purpose.
For the smooth running of the race there will be a limit of participants. Following this, those interested must complete the following forms by 23:59 on 31/05/2024, in order to ensure their participation in the event.
For participation declarations that will be registered after 03/06/2024, the organizers cannot guarantee the provision of a sports T-Shirt.
